Synopsis: The unit is designed to consolidate and develop comprehension skills in reading materials on current topics in the Korean press and understanding and discussing the issues and their social and cultural context.

Assessment: Examination (2 hours): 40% + Reading assignments (total 2500 words): 60%

Contact Hours: 4 hours (2 x lectures and 2 x tutorials) per week

Prerequisites: KOR2220 or equivalent
