Jewish Philosophy in Context (6 points)

Synopsis: This unit provides an introduction to Jewish thought. It will focus on the major concerns of Jewish thought through various epochs and the relation of these concerns to those of contemporaneous general philosophy.

Assessment: Essay (2000 words): 44% + Tutorial presentation (500 words):12% + Examination (2 hours): 44%

Contact Hours: 2 hour lecture per week and 1 tutorial per fortnight
