Synopsis: As for JLG4120

Assessment: Final examination (2 hours): 40% + Regular class quizzes: 15% + Written project work (1500 words or 3000 characters): 35% + Oral test (debate): 10% + Assessment tasks and criteria will take into account the language level and background of students.

Contact Hours: Four contact hours per week, including a one-hour lecture in Japanese, a two-hour seminar and a one-hour tutorial.

Prerequisites: Japanese 11 or equivalent
