Synopsis: A selection of topics from Japanese linguistics, such as phonology, morphology, syntax, lexicon and semantics.

Assessment: Essay (3,000 words) : 35% + Essay (4,000 words): 45% + Oral presentation (2,000 words): 20%

Contact Hours: Two hours (2 x seminars)per week

Prerequisites: Monash Level C Japanese Language or equivalent.
