Synopsis: This unit is a continuation of INM3430. More advanced topics are introduced, with further discussion of grammatical structures and social and cultural factors affecting language-use. An introduction to Javanese literature and script is given.

Assessment: Examination (1 hour): 40% + Oral test: 20% + Written exercises: 20% + Oral presentation: 20%

Contact Hours: 3 hours (2 x lectures and 1 x workshop writing) per week
