Synopsis: Techniques and technology of information management in organisations. Topics include the motivation for information management, data management technologies, relational and legacy database systems, designing relational databases, use of the SQL language, data warehousing, dimensional modelling, data sourcing and data quality in data warehouses, document management, and the data management function within organisations.

Assessment: Assignments: 50% + Formal Supervised Assessment: 50%
