Synopsis: Topics include the role of information systems in organisations; organisational behaviour and its impact on information systems; ethical and social issues relating to information systems; strategic information systems; information systems planning; information systems strategy; global information systems; electronic commerce; management of information resources, information systems development, end-user computing, information security; business reengineering.

Assessment: Examination: 60% + Practical work: 40%

Contact Hours: 3 hours per week

Prerequisites: CSE1205, IMS1002, SYS1002, SYS2168 or equivalent
