Offered: Synopsis: The evolution and current state of the art of the theory and practice of management support systems. The role of these systems in supporting managerial work. The development process and some of the key techniques which support it. Topics covered include approaches to DSS design and architecture, Data warehousing, business intelligence and OLAP, DSS models, knowledge-based DSS, knowledge discovery and groupware.
