Interior architecture studio 5 (6 points)

Synopsis: Projects are multifaceted and primarily set in commercial contexts. Building code and other statutory requirements are discussed and basic resolution of these issues are a part of the project requirements. Students undertake studies of the contemporary discourse in interior, environmental and architectural design and related social theory. Students articulate and test their individual design philosophies in studio discussion.

Assessment: Assigned projects:80% + Project planning exercise: 10% + Seminar paper:10%

Contact Hours: 4 studio and seminar hours and 8 independent study hours per week

Prerequisites: IAR2104, DIS2302
