Synopsis: As for GSC2207.

Assessment: Two assignments(1350 and 1800 words): 30% and 40% + Seminar presentation/paper (1350 words): 30% Students at third-year level will be required to demonstrate wider reading for all three pieces of assessment. The second assignment requires a broader knowledge base and a more strongly theoretical approach than that set for second-level students.

Contact Hours: 2 hours per week (1-hour lecture and 1-hour tutorial)

Prerequisites: two second-level sociology units
