Synopsis: This unit provides an introduction to the lifespan perspective on human development. The impact of culture and social change on the human developmental process will be the focus while exploring the physical, cognitive and social aspects of development at each life stage.

Assessment: Essay (1500 words): 25% + Tutorial presentation or online assignment (equivalent to 1000 words): 35% + Examination (2 hours): 40%

Contact Hours: 3 hours per week (2 hr lecture, 1 hr tutorial)
