Digital imaging (6 points)

Gippsland First semester 2003 (OCL)

Synopsis: Theory and application of digital imaging to such areas as medicine, satellites and resource management, robotics, document processing and graphics. Transform, convolution and image processing techniques used to enhance the extraction of visual information from digital images.

Assessment: Computer-based assignment: 30% + Computer-based personalised project: 30% + Computer-based assignment to be completed under supervision conditions in which the student's work is authenticated: 40%
