Synopsis: A supervised research-oriented project including a literature survey, identification of potential solutions to the problems stated in the project and implementation to test the solutions. The culmination is the writing a thesis and a final presentation. Access to the university's computer systems through an Internet service provider is compulsory for off-campus students.

Assessment: Final thesis (of 19,000 to 20,000 words): 70% + Other assessment modes: 30%
