GCO2811Commercial programming (6 points)(IT) Leader: A Driver
Offered: Synopsis: Introduction to principles of commercial e-business and e-commerce programming. The unit explores the purposes and approaches in using scripting and mark-up languages in relation to the client-server paradigm. Basic database terminolgy is introduced. E-business and e-commerce models underpin application development using mark-up and scripting languages. The roles of server-side and client-side code together with web service strategies are examined.
