Offered: Synopsis: Introduction to skills in weaving. Set projects extend students' skills in the fundamentals of tapestry weaving. Topics include understanding of warp and weft ratios, joining techniques, colour theory and colour mixing and drawing for tapestry. Theoretical concerns of the tapestry tradition are discussed and analysed.
