Synopsis: Issues in contemporary Australian writing and criticism. Identity (national, gender, racial) and how post-modern fiction interrogates its very concept and destabilises existing definitions through a range of stylistic strategies.

Assessment: Two essays (2500 words each): 30% each + Essay (4000 words): 40%
