Advanced Studies in Gifted Education (12 points)

Synopsis: The nature of specific talents. Procedures to identify these talents. The nature of creativity, its assessment and strategies for development. The variation between the special populations of the gifted in respect to their needs and development.

Assessment: A triple-entry notebook (recorded summaries and reflections on assigned readings) (4000 words): 35% + Individual project/seminar paper (2500 words): 55% + Class presentation of Gifted project: 10%
