Synopsis: The unit will introduce the principles of construction, administration and interpretation of measures of assessment relevant to counselors. Formal and informal assessment measures will be looked at and some practical experience in their administration will be gained.

Assessment: Class test (1,500 words): 25% + Essay (2,000 words): 30% + Case Study (2,500 words): 45%
