Synopsis: Issues in design and learning relating to the application of information, communication and presentation technologies for learning. Traditional and contemporary perspectives on instructional design. Applications to the design of learning environments, materials and systems in non-classroom based education. The unit is run in a flexible mode and is based on the ideas of student-centred learning. The subject is set largely in the context of adult education.
