Facilitating Community Development (6 points)

Synopsis: The course is designed to enhance skills, knowledge and understanding of facilitating community involvement of diverse groups of people into areas of decision-making. This solution focused learning will introduce participants to a systematic approach to enable 'ordinary people' to work together and establish common goals towards sustainable futures.

Assessment: Two assignments (2,000 words each): 80% + Participation in learning activities: 20%.

Contact Hours: 2 hours per week

Prerequisites: Degree or diploma or significant experience in community development or community education
