Method and Practice of Teaching Biology B (6 points)

Synopsis: This unit builds on the concepts introduced in EDF5462. The major focus of this unit will be to further develop approaches and pedagogy appropriate for teaching Biology in Years 7 to 12.

Assessment: Assignments: 45%, Development of Electronic Resources 40 %, Class Participation 25% + Students must complete at least 45 days teaching practice (50 for Double Degree students) and gain a rating of satisfactory for teaching practice + Student participation in on-campus workshops is vital and therefore has an 80% attendance requirement for this unit.
