Method and Practice of Teaching Information Technology/Computing B (6 points)

Synopsis: This unit builds on the concepts introduced in EDF5456. This unit will focus on the development of extended lesson sequences and the use of contexts and applications in the teaching of information technology in secondary schools.

Assessment: Applications and context presentation 80% (3000 words) + Teaching round folio 20% + Student participation in the unit is vital either on-campus or via the on-line forum + Students must complete at least 45 days teaching practice and gain a rating of satisfactory for the teaching practice.
