Method and Practice of Teaching Studies of Society and Environment B (6 points)

Synopsis: This unit builds on the concepts introduced in EDF5444. The major focus of this unit will be to develop further strategies and pedagogy appropriate for teaching studies of society and environment in years 7 to 12.

Assessment: (On-campus students): Assignments: 50% Teaching Practice 50% (4,000 words equivalent) + An 80% attendance requirement so students can fully participate in the workshops + Students must complete at least 45 days teaching practice (50 for double degree students) and gain a rating of satisfactory. (Off-Campus students): Assignments: 50% Teaching Practice 50% (4,000 words equivalent) + Hurdle requirement - students should complete the appropriate SOSE B school experience pro forma
