Synopsis: Philosophy, principles and practices of the delivery of outdoor education programs. Areas of study will be selected from adventure education, experienced-based training and development, adventure therapy, challenge programs and school programs. The unit provides students with an opportunity to undertake applied approaches to the unit. An optional workshop utilising the Gippsland campus high and low ropes course is offered.

Assessment: Assignment 1 (2000 words): 50% + Assignment 2 (2000 words): 50%
