Teaching Studies C (6 points)

Synopsis: Module 1 - Roles and Responsibilities and Program Development, provides students with the knowledge relating to the legal requirements and responsibilities associated with their 'duty of care' as teachers including the identification of indicators of abuse and other situations requiring intervention. Module 2 provides the opportunity to be responsible for the planning, delivery, assessment and evaluation of an integrated unit of work across a number of Key Learning Areas or a developmental sequence across a number of grade levels within a specialist area. The third module focuses on how to conduct a project within student's school experience. Fieldwork of between 15 and 20 days.

Assessment: Development of a professional portfolio, 2500 words + Project proposal, 1500 words. Satisfactory completion of a Practicum Program of between 15-20days + Pass grade only.
