Synopsis: The unit continues to explore contemporary approaches to art practice and aims to develop and increase confidence and skills across a range of media. Emphasis will be placed on experimentation and concept development. The unit will examine art practice and theory through lectures and seminars, excursions to galleries and studios, leading to the development of strategies and activities for classroom application.

Assessment: Painting and sculpture folio: 60% + Drawing folio (6 pieces): 30% + Class paper (1000 words): 10%
