Synopsis: This subject provides students with an opportunity to relate the broadest possible definition of drawing to current art practices, methods and materials. Through a series of set projects, students will be encouraged, through the use of materials and formats, to explore ideas and develop concepts in ways that may assist their major studies. The study is designed to assist students to develop notational skills, to investigate advanced concepts and to become aware of strategies for successfully articulating visual research.

Contact Hours: 3 studio hours and 9 independent study hours per week

Prerequisites: Any of DWG1102, DWG1202, DWG1301, DWG1401
