Synopsis: Major areas to be covered include: An overview of current trauma assessment and treatment; An understanding of how culture interacts with clients' responses to the clinician, and the psychiatric culture, and symptom presentation; Techniques in using existing diagnostic criteria (i.e. DSM-IV) while assisting a reliable culture review.

Assessment: Professional journal (30%) + Case study (30%) + Group project (40%)
