Synopsis: Software architecture, program communication with system services, low-level programming language concepts, low-level performance and tuning, interlanguage communication, debugging complex systems, programming of concurrent processes.

Assessment: Written: 40% + Practical work: 60%

Contact Hours: 4 hours per week

Prerequisites: CSE3400 or SFT3000 or equivalent recommended

Prohibitions: SFT4100
