Windows programming in C++ (6 points)

Synopsis: The design and implementation of the Windows "event-based programming" model and the services facilities offered by the component object model and OLE. Topics include event-based programming, windowing systems, the component object model, OLE, class library design and use, Windows resources, and dynamic link libraries.

Assessment: Examination (40%) + Unit Test (20%) + Assignments (40%)

Contact Hours: 4 hours per week

Prerequisites: CSE3400 or SFT3000 or equivalent

Prohibitions: SFT3002
