Synopsis: Challenging business management and IT issues in a modern health care industry, including those in health care systems design and planning, management of operations, medical management and health insurance modelling are analysed. The emphasis is on the use of quantitative modelling and decision-making techniques for creating and testing business models.

Assessment: Project: 30% + Tests: 10% + Examination (2 hours): 60% + Students must pass the examination in order to pass the unit.
