Synopsis: The Honours year aims to develop analytic abilities, research skills and communication skills. A research project will constitute the major portion of the year. The breadth of biomedical research available within the faculty will provide students with a high level of flexibility. In addition students will complete two component's of the course that are not directly related to their specific research project. One of these component's will be a core component common to all students and the other, an approved component specific to the department or discipline in which the individual student is working.

Assessment: Research thesis 60% + Two seminars 10% + Literature Review 5% + Discipline Specific Component 10% + Common Core Component 15%
