Synopsis: Students submit an essay on an advanced topic in biology that is distinct from the topic of the BIO4100/GEN4100 research project. In addition, they will present the results of their BIO4100/GEN4100 research project in a seminar and as a poster. Candidates may commence the honours year at the beginning of either first or second semester. Further information is available from the course coordinator and at a meeting held with prospective students during second semester of third year.

Assessment: Essay: 50% + Seminar: 25% + Poster: 25%

Corequisites: BIO4100 or GEN4100
