Biochemistry and molecular biology research project (36 points)

Synopsis: Students will undertake a supervised research project. Candidates may commence the Honours year at the beginning of either the first or second semester. Students will research literature relevant to their topic, carry out a research project and present the results of their study in both written and oral form. Information about the research projects is available from the course coordinator and at a meeting held with prospective students during the second semester of third year.

Assessment: Literature review (5000 words): 15% + Research project (40000 words): 70%) + Oral presentation: 15%
