Contemporary Issues in Asia (12 points)

Synopsis: This unit explores political, economic, and social issues confronting societies in contemporary Asia. Students are encouraged to develop expertise on a particular country or issue, but they are also expected to become informed about Asia as a region.

Assessment: Journal: 25% + Research paper (5000 words): 50% + Exam: 25%
