Synopsis: As for ARY2810

Assessment: 5 translation assignments (10% each): 50% + 2 class tests (25% each): 50% + Students undertaking this unit at third level will be expected to display a greater understanding of the grammatical structure of the language rather than simple facility in translation.

Contact Hours: One 2.5 hour language class per week for 13 weeks

Prerequisites: A first-year sequence in Archaeology or permission
