APA3211Ceramics elective 5C (6 points)(A&D) Leader: To be determined
Offered: Synopsis: Studio sessions and tutor demonstrations develop the design processes, understanding of materials, forming methods and technical procedures associated with studio projects. The theory of ceramic practice, including technical, conceptual aesthetic and cultural issues is delivered in regular fortnightly seminars. Students are encouraged to identify, analyse and discuss issues related to both the practical and theoretical content of the course. Assessment: Portfolio of work and research + Mid semester:20% + End of semester:80% Contact Hours: 3 hours in class and 9 independent study hours per week Prerequisites: APA2212 |
