Small-scale casting 2 (3 points)

Synopsis: This subject is studio based and following on from the prerequisite subject, explores and extends the specific processes involved with small scale casting in metal, including lost-wax and cuttlebone or sand casting. Formal lectures, practical work and research enable students to explore the possibilities of lost wax casting and where it may be appropriately used to extend the creative possibility of their own work.

Assessment: Folio: 100%, including an initial project of not less than 20%.
