Synopsis: A study in a special field of accounting and finance in which no formal subject is available. In such a subject, normally open only to students who have previously done other work with the staff member concerned, the supervisor will prescribe a list of references, consult frequently with the student and set whatever written work and examinations the supervisor deems appropriate.
