Synopsis: The role of the accounting system for purposes of strategic management. Topics include contemporary performance measures, human aspects of management accounting and an evaluation of contemporary management accounting; cost data appropriate for decision models; special problems in analysing recurring activities including the measurement of departmental and divisional performance; decision models under conditions of uncertainty.

Assessment: Written (3 essays, 4000 words): 100%
