Choice of elective units for the Bachelor of Business (specialised)

The Bachelor of Business (specialised) comprises 24 units, including six open electives. Candidates may take as electives: elective units in their own discipline, any of the compulsory units offered in another business discipline or units from any discipline within any faculty of the university provided that:

(a) the number of first-year-level units must not exceed 10 (60 points)
(b) a minimum of six (36 points) third-year-level units, of which at least four must be from those offered in the faculty at the Caulfield campus
(c) at least two (12 points) of the electives must be taken outside the main field of study.
Candidates enrolled in any of the disciplines of the Bachelor of Business (specialised) degrees should discuss their choices of electives with their course coordinator, so that a cohesive program can be planned.

Candidates enrolled in off-campus learning courses in any of the disciplines of the Bachelor of Business (specialised) degrees should discuss their choices of electives with their course coordinator and will select from a number of business-related units offered through CeLTS.
Students are normally expected to proceed through their degrees by completing first-year units before second-year units, and second-year units before third-year units.
