Graduate Certificate in Evidence-Based Practice


General information

The overall objective of the Graduate Certificate in Evidence-Based Practice, offered through the Monash Institute of Health Services Research, is for students to gain an understanding of the history, concepts, collection and implementation of evidence-based practice and why it is important. At the completion of this course, it is expected that the graduates will be:

This course is open to graduates with a three-year degree or a diploma with a major in a health-related area. Consideration will also be given to applicants with substantial experience and/or professionally relevant qualifications and who are currently employed in a senior position in a health-related area.

Course structure

The course is conducted over 12 months part-time, entirely by off-campus learning. No attendance is required.

Assessment

Assessment consists of written assignments submitted to the course coordinator.
