Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Accounting


Course code: 1307 + Course abbreviation: PostgradDipAdvAcc + Course directors: Mr Nick Mroczkowski + Offered at either Clayton or Caulfield campuses, depending on the unit + Normally completed in two semesters of full-time study or four semesters of part-time study

The Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Accounting is designed specifically for those students who wish to meet the professional educational needs to complete the CPA program.

Applicants require a pass degree with a major in accounting, or a recognised professional accounting qualification; or an equivalent qualification from a recognised tertiary institution. Candidates may be eligible for a maximum of five credit exemptions for units considered to be equivalent to particular units in the course of study. Refer to the relevant course director for further details.
This is a fee-paying course. Candidates should consult the Department of Accounting and Finance as to the 2003 course fee. Course fees are set and reviewed annually and are therefore subject to change.
Graduates will meet the academic requirements for admission as a full member of CPA Australia.
Candidates who successfully complete the Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Accounting with an average grade of credit or above may apply for admission to the Master of Business (Accounting).

A total of eight units is required.
