The course is designed to provide a sound knowledge of the fundamentals of computer programming, information technology and information systems.
The normal entry requirement is the equivalent of an Australian bachelors degree or diploma. Special entry requirements also exist where, in any one year, a limited number of admissions made may be granted to applicants who do not meet the above entrance requirements but who have some tertiary qualifications and at least two years of relevant work experience.
The
Graduate Certificate in Computing is normally completed over one year of
off-campus learning study.
The course consists of four units covering computer programming, information
technology and information systems. All students will be required to have met
the objectives and satisfied the assessment requirements of the four units as
given in the following schedule:

Applications received after that date but before 25 October 2002 will be considered for a second round of offers. Later applications may be considered if places are available.
