39 hours of didactic content (lectures, flexible learning modules, small group tutorials), 3 placements (126 hours) of Introductory Practical Experience (IPE), 1 placement (105 hours) of Advanced Practical Experience (APE), 12 hours of briefing/debriefing for placements

Synopsis: The health care system. Ethics. Communication in difficult situations. Pharmacoepidemiology and pharmacoeconomics. Evidence-based medicine.

Assessment: End-of-year examination (2 hours): 20% + End-of-year open-book examination (3 hours): 30% + Assignments: 30% + Practical experience workbooks: 20%
