6 point + First semester, second semester + Approved overseas institution + A minimum of a month intensive course (approximatively 80 hours) in a language, culture and civilisation course in a Spanish-speaking country (by permission before departing from Australia) + Corequisites: SPN2010 + Prohibitions: This unit may not be counted as part of a minor sequence in Spanish and it is not available for students from the Post VCE stream + Prerequisites: Students should have high marks in Spanish units (high D or HD average)

Synopsis: Students undertaking a Study Abroad Program in a Hispanic nation will spend a minimum of a month in an overseas institution studying an intensive language-culture course.

Assessment: Four Essays (2700 words): 60% + Diary (1350 words): 30% + Regular assessment in the foreign institution (equivalent to 450 words): 10%
