Synopsis: (1) Language: Advanced study, through literary and official texts, of the stylistics of contemporary Polish political, economic and cultural discourses. Advanced translation and theory of translation. (2) Literature and society: Contemporary Polish drama, fiction and film in the context of (East) European postmodernism.

Assessment: Language Test (1 hour): 30% + Written work (1000 words): 20% + Literature and society Essay (2500 words): 50%
