RLT2160Christian Theology: Christology and Trinity(ART)
P Connell 6 points + 2.5 hours per week + Second semester + Catholic Theological College + Prerequisites: A first-year sequence in History or Religion and Theology or permission + Prohibition: RLT3160 Synopsis: The unit investigates the development of thought about the founder of Christianity, Jesus, and the trinitarian conception of the divinity from the formation of the original Christian texts through the classical formative periods of the church Fathers and mediaeval theology, to the post Reformation and post Enlightenment discussions. Assessment: Two short essays (1500 words each): 35% each + Examination (1.5 hours): 30% |
