RAD2062Radiologic biology 4(MED)
Synopsis: Physical characteristics of blood function of blood cells, plasma, physiology of coagulation, blood typing, interstitial fluid and lymph; the heart, pericardium, heart wall, chambers and valves, great vessels, coronary circulation, electrical conducting system and ECG; arteries, arterioles, capillaries and veins; physiology of circulation, shock and homeostasis, blood pressure; the aorta and branches; veins of the head and neck, extremities, thorax, abdomen and pelvis; the pulmonary circulation, and the portal system; lymphatic vessels, the tonsils, spleen and thymus, lymph circulation, function of antigens and antibodies, formation of T and B cells, role in immunity. Assessment: One written examination (3 hours): 50% + One assignment: 20% + One multi-station recognition examination: 30% |
