Synopsis: Black-and-white photographic techniques. Photographic images within various cultural contexts. Individual photographic projects. Practice and research methodologies. Students produce a folio of work and a journal which documents their investigations, research and progress.

Assessment: Folio: 80% + Studio Journal: 20%
